Laughing For Living

On many days, I think I'm pretty lucky to own job I have. In addition, I'm telling you, my friend Katie has it made--she laughs for a job. Seriously.

Convinced that the world would have been a better place with to counteract laughter, Katie started As the Levity Project--a social activity creating change through highest bidder acts of play, fun, and celebration. With an ambition of helping to shrink negativity, stress and fatigue in these times, The Levity Project objectives to infuse public spaces with the help of lighter and more perky energy.

I had the privilege (though I didn't think so at the time) to await one of Katie's Delight Yoga sessions in Bath, Maine. Really, it perfectly be my worst nightmare. Laughter under pressure in front of other people? Eek. What how to tap into my panic disorder issues.

Anyhow, I thought about being a good friend, therefore i went. I brought along another who shares my anxieties about this type of situation. (About five minutes for the yoga session I whispered for one's friend I'd brought together with you, "Are you going to realize kill me? " Who they, she said, "Yes. " Goodness, social anxiety and missing friendships. ) I left hours later, lighter and slow than I'd been beneath the... well, a long working day. Good stuff. No, genuine stuff. And, I've put whatever laughter yoga moves this place since then that helped me to through some tough conditions.

To celebrate World Wit Day 2010, Katie went to New york city. Can you imagine planning to ignite a laughter event interested in Grand Central Station -- particularly the morning after the terrorist work for balance nearby Times Square? Then, she and the secondary Laughter Yoga instructors made it happen. Laughter everywhere. Check away awesome video on FOX NEWS. com.

Laughter Yoga might not have made it to your neighborhood yet. But, look to produce this -- and, if the actual thing is it, try it. Or go with the, better yet, why not become a laughter pioneer in your area -- get trained on its own Katie.
