Training the Martial Arts Or Fitness Beginner

Beginners want instant dividend. They're used to getting their ambitions right now; microwaves, email, fast food lunches, drive-through enhancing, gastric bypass etc. So they expect the identical results in their forms of martial arts. I have to constantly remind students it just doesn't work this way. Progress takes time.
