I must be maturing. In my youth, the actual glory days, I wish to accomplish anything. Stay up all night and still go to school and work the next dawn, repeat that all week and still engage in the weekend. I could reward yourself with a killer long bike ride, then a run and not simply feel it later. I could eat all the things and have no harmful effects.
But no more! This wasn't watch everything I type in my mouth. No more cinnamon raisin bagels troubled with melted cheddar cheese for breakfast (I shed a tear just thinking about it). No more carbo only dinners. It's a sad day when you admit that.
I'm working out for the Vancouver Half Gathering in May. Well, training might be a strong word. (I'm running consistently and upping what steps I'm running as I go, I'm up to just over an hour and a small part of right now). Anyway the 2009 week I went into your great long run, the sun was shinning, it proven crisp, and I lived through great. It didn't even take to another location day until I was so stiff it hurt simply to walk up the stairs, e-mail I did stretch newer wards (say the yogi). I spent the evening leaning back on uv pack.
The next day We were in pain. So I've done the elliptical for seconds and spent 30 min's really stretching every muscle with my body. I think the lesson was don't take anything for granted. My 30 minute stretch (while watching section of the Silence of the Lambs certainly one of my all time favorite movies I would personally add) felt amazing. Mental note - make More time for stretching.
