Yoga as a fitness practice is more popular than ever. I myself am a large fan of yoga and combine several pieces of it in my their own training. I even plan to would be a certified instructor in the near future. However, I can't seat back and hear several yoga practitioners enjoy "yoga is a complete type of training and it is all you need". 1. Minimal power development: power requires speed of motion to be developed, yoga depends on slow, controlled actions where the promote static flexibility, complement and isometric strength.
